Filled With Useful Info That Travelers Use To Plan Their South America Tour

Recently I had the pleasure of taking the 4 day / 3 night trip aboard the M/V Legend to the Galapagos Islands, and let me tell you, what an incredible cruise!

UNESCO World Heritage Sites Ecuador

The M/V Legend has capacity for 100 passengers, has several different room categories, and is equipped with a pool, hot tub, exercise equipment, bar, and onboard library. The cruise is nicely decorated and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The service beat my expectations, by including extra activities while we were aboard between excursions, for example, an ice cream social, karaoke after dinner, and a photo contest for those who wished to participate.

Galapagos SealionsIn addition to the quality and service of the M/V Galapagos Legend and its staff, they provided excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and even had snacks waiting for us each time we came back from our excursions. For each meal we were offered several different options, making it much easier for those with special dietary requirements. Again, I was treated with superb service by such kind wait and kitchen staff.

Galapagos IguanasThe M/V Galapagos Legend also had exciting and fun daily excursions. Usually 2 excursions daily including the possibility of snorkeling for those who are interested in the marine life of the Galapagos Islands. The local guides were very nice and gave a personal touch to each tour, while also being extremely educated on the animals and the different islands. I was able to see a variety of marine and land animals, including sea lions, iguanas, crabs, blue and red footed boobies, sharks, fish, and turtles! My favorite part was getting to snorkel with the sea lion pups one afternoon.

Galapagos TortoiseOverall, I would recommend the M/V Galapagos Legend Cruise to anyone who is interested in wildlife. The Galapagos is an incredible place where you can find only unique animals native to each island. An extremely memorable experience!
