This Week in America with Ric Bratton radio logoJust before the end of the year, our CEO, Juergen Keller, was featured on National Radio in a special interview, where he spoke with Ric Bratton, the host of “This Week in America.” Discussing travel trends in South America, especially traveling in Brazil, Juergen shared his insider’s tips and knowledge on the air.

Here is a brief summary of the topics discussed on the show:

Brazil is becoming a new destination, it really is a new stand-out destination in South America. Brazil is in the eyes of everyone, now that the World Cup and the Olympics are set to be hosted in Brazil in the coming years. Infrastructure and government are booming, now that the airports and many transportation venues are privatized. Plus, the crime rate in Brazil is down, even in big cities like Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, since more police are on patrol and the educated middle class is growing.

If you’re interested in traveling to Brazil during the Olympics or World Cup, get your plans together now and start planning ahead of time. If you’re going to Brazil for one of these special events, it would be a waste not to visit some of the main highlights of Brazil while you are there, such as the Iguazu Falls, the beaches and islands of the Atlantic Coast, or the thriving metropolitan cities. But just keep in mind that the country will be very full of tourists, hotels will be booked in advanced, and prices will increase. So you might want to consider traveling to Brazil before the events, to enjoy this fantastic country and take advantage of the growing economy and improved infrastructure now, before the crowds pour in.
