A boat on a calm river at sunset in the Amazon Rainforest, with a vibrant sky of pink, orange, and purple clouds reflecting on the water, and dark silhouettes of trees lining the distant shore—perfect for those arriving on Amazon flights.

Amazon Passport & Visa Info

Tourist visa requirements for the Amazon depend on which country you travel through. The Amazon Rainforest spans Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia and Bolivia, so the entry rules that apply are those of your gateway country. For full details, see the relevant country guide: The good news: travelers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia and most of the EU can now enter all of these countries visa-free for tourism (Bolivia dropped its US visa requirement in December 2025). Please note: whichever country you enter through, your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
