Four days for two in Mendoza - Honeymoon in Mendoza

Tour extension: four unhurried days for two among Mendoza's vineyards

Most days here have one thing on them. Day one is arrival and a welcome dinner, day two a cooking class, day three a spa, and day four the road to the airport. That is the whole schedule, and it is deliberate. I would argue a honeymoon needs room more than it needs a longer list.

The cooking class is in Mendoza’s central oasis, the irrigated valley around the city, with a chef to show you the dishes. You eat the result for lunch, with house wine, among the vineyards. No winery visits are scheduled; the wine arrives with the meal. You stay at a lodge, and the transfers are handled for you.

This is a tour extension. Combine it with one of our full-package Argentina tours, and your Destination Consultant will work out where it fits.

Sample Itinerary

Silhouette of a couple clinking wine glasses together at sunset in Mendoza, with a warm orange and yellow sky—perfect for a romantic honeymoon in Mendoza.
Day 1

The tour starts when you land in Mendoza. Your guide meets you at the airport and drives you to your lodge, which is home for the next three nights. Settle in and take a breath.

In the evening there is a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, and a transfer back to the lodge afterward. That is all that is planned. The first day of a honeymoon does not need more than a good table.

A chef in a white uniform and hat prepares food in a modern Mendoza kitchen with large windows revealing a scenic mountain view—a perfect setting for a romantic honeymoon, complete with ingredients, wine bottles, and cooking utensils on the counter.
Day 2

After breakfast you head into Mendoza's central oasis, the irrigated valley around the city, for a gourmet cooking class. A chef guides you through an introduction to Argentine cuisine, and you cook local dishes you can make again back home.

Then you eat what you made. Lunch comes with house wine, among the vineyards. Afterward you are transferred back to the lodge. It is a slow, full kind of day, and the only one with a recipe.

A hand pours red wine from a bottle into one of two glasses, with a blurred outdoor background and warm sunset lighting—perfect for a Mendoza honeymoon.
Day 3

Today is the spa day, and the spa is the whole schedule.

It is a rest from the hectic everyday life you left at home, and a chance to spend unhurried time with each other. You are transferred back to the lodge afterward, with the rest of the day to do as little as you like.

Rows of grapevines in a vineyard stretch across the foreground in Argentina, with rugged, rocky mountains and snow-capped peaks rising in the Land of Contrast under a partly cloudy blue sky.
Day 4

Take in Mendoza one last time: its green parks and the Andes beyond. Nothing else is scheduled, and how much time you have depends on your flight.

Your guide then drives you to the airport, where you fly on to your next destination in South America. The trip began with a dinner and ends with a view.
