You sleep in Ushuaia and ski outside it. Each morning a shuttle takes you from the hotel to Cerro Castor, 26 km (16 mi) away, and at the end of the day it brings you back to Argentina’s southernmost city. Six days of that, with lift tickets covered for all six.
Cerro Castor started as a family project in 1999. Its top elevation is 1,057 m (3,468 ft), which is not why people come. The far-south location is. Lifts serve every level, and there are restaurants on the mountain, so lunch does not mean heading down.
The season usually runs from late June to early October. Equipment is not included; rent it at the mountain. Private instructors can be arranged for anyone who wants one. Fly into Ushuaia, in the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego. From Buenos Aires the direct flight takes under 3 hours 30 minutes. In winter there are also connections within Argentine Patagonia: from Trelew in Chubut Province, and from Río Gallegos and El Calafate in Santa Cruz Province.
Transfer from Ushuaia Airport to your hotel in town. The shuttle to the mountain starts tomorrow. The ski season usually runs from late June to early October, the Southern Hemisphere winter.

Ski equipment is rented on the spot and is not included. Private instructors can be arranged, also not included.
Breakfast at the hotel, then a transfer to Ushuaia Airport after a week on the snow. The lift tickets and the shuttle end with the stay, so there is nothing left to arrange on the mountain. From here the trip carries on across South America. Because this is a tour extension, the next leg comes from the longer itinerary it attaches to.
